Hi! My name is Tarah and I am a passionate, caring, and responsible animal lover. I have over twenty years of experience working at doggy day cares, animal shelters, and as a dog sitter/walker. Originally from Honolulu, HI, I began volunteering at dog rescues in California while in college in 2004. Since then I have worked full time at doggy day cares in Honolulu and NYC including spending overnights with over ten dogs in my care. I have also been a dog sitter and dog walker in different cities over the last twenty years. I have experience working with different dog breeds and temperaments. I have some background in dog training as well as dealing with behavioral issues. Personally I have owned dogs my whole life and at one point had three dogs and two cats! I take pride in treating all animals as if they were my own children and have rescued many loose dogs I have found and reunited them with their owners. I have worked with 5 lb chihuahuas to 100 lb mastiffs, and everything in between as well as potty training puppies and senior dogs with dementia. A true caretaker, I have also worked as an early childhood educator but am not working at the moment so would be able to give devoted attention to your fur babies. I have a large fenced in yard for your pet to run around and a small park in walking distance of my home. While your pet stays with me I will be able to be with them 24/7 and take them on at least 3 walks a day.
