I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a love for pets of all kinds. From hamsters and cats to dogs and other furry friends, I enjoy caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. As a retired teacher, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to your pet’s needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, companionship, or simply a calm and caring presence, I’m happy to provide attentive care tailored to them. I love being outdoors and staying active, so regular walks and exercise are something I genuinely enjoy. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pet, and I will care for them as if they were my own.

Tara was super with Elsa and very flexible with our schedule over four days. On Day 2, Elsa jumped out of the truck and ran to Tara with tail wagging with excitement.
Tara was great! Sent awesome updates of the pups and they felt right at home!
She was great with our dog, great with communication, will definitely use Tara again for helping with our dog when we are out of town.

Schedule
I have two friendly dogs of my own, so pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. Since I’m retired, I have a flexible schedule that allows me plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention and companionship they deserve.

I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. As a retired teacher and lifelong pet owner, I am responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I carefully follow owners’ instructions and routines to help pets feel secure and happy. I have two friendly dogs and a large fenced yard where dogs can safely play and exercise. In addition to boarding in my home, I am also available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is to provide dependable care and treat every pet like family.
