I grew up on a small farm where I helped care for animals that were injured, abandoned, or simply needed extra attention. Because of that experience, I developed a huge soft spot for animals and a deep respect for their individual needs. I’m confident caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your normal routines so your pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I’m respectful of each home and always keep things clean, organized, and exactly as I found them. I provide attentive care, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of affection while making sure your pet stays safe and happy. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I have soft spot for all animals. 10% of everything I make off Rover is donated to a local shelter.

Tara was perfect for our cat, Butter. Butter is a little more demanding than most cats (lol) and Tara fit into his routine perfectly! She sent plenty of pictures and left our boy and our apartment in great shape.
Tara is an amazing communicator, dog walker, and overall loving human being! She did a great job coordinating care for our dog, Goose and making sure everything was taken care of :)
Tara was an absolute dream as a dog sitter! I felt so safe leaving my baby Bunny girl with her and had not one concern and could rest assured on my vacation and enjoy it to the fullest knowing my girl was in her care! She sent me pics daily, we did FaceTimes and gave me updates about feeds, walks, and potty times. She is a truly genuine person and I would argue she took better care of my girl than I did! My pup absolutely adored her. I was so happy with her care. If there was an option to leave 10 stars I would! She is a rockstar Rover girl! The best ❤️

Schedule
I’m newly semi-retired after a career in big tech, which means I now have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your fur baby. I’m available most days and can easily accommodate walks, check-ins, or pet sitting based on your pet’s needs.
