Hi! I'm Tara. I’m an animal lover, experienced pet care provider, house sitter, energy healer, and serial entrepreneur with the freedom to make my own hours + work from anywhere. That being said, you can have peace of mind knowing there will be someone caring, loving, and responsible watching over your fur babies most hours of the day! I often form instantaneous bonds with animals within our first meeting, and will always treat your pet as if it were my own. I enjoy interacting with them, staying active with them, and cuddling with them! I also do Reiki, so if your pets are feeling anxious at all, I can bring in some calming energy for them! My relationships with my clients and their pets are built on a foundation of trust, mutual respect, and reliability! _____________________________________ I’ve been caring for pets since I was a little kid – I grew up with dogs (3 golden retrievers/huskies), a rabbit, hamsters, rats, goldfish, and a turtle, and would also take care of my neighbor’s cats, rabbit, and ducks whenever they were away. When I quit my 9-5 job at the end of 2012 to start my own design + marketing business, I decided to try pet care + house sitting to help me pay my bills while I built my dreams. This turned out to be a great experience, and I ended up doing dog walks, drop-ins + pet-sitting on the side for many years out in San Diego, CA At the end of 2019, I moved back home to the East Coast and started rebuilding my life in the southern New Hampshire area. In July of 2022, I found myself missing all my furry friends, so I decided that maybe it was time to start offering pet care on the East Coast. So I updated this profile, and within 6 months, I had a full-time pet care business. It has been going strong for over 3 years now! My experiences over the years have been positive, and I feel honored and grateful to have connected with so many kind and compassionate people and their adorable pets! I am still running my design + marketing business, which I can do from anywhere with wifi! All services can be customized to your needs! Please feel free to reach out to let me know what you need, and I will reply with a custom quote! _____________________________________ MEET & GREETS: I offer complimentary Meet & Greets if you are within at 10-min drive from my home in Somersworth, NH. If you live further away, a $10-$20 travel fee may apply. Please request a 30-min Drop-in and I'll adjust the price. :) _____________________________________ DOG WALKING: I would be coming to your house to take your dog(s) for a walk in your neighborhood. _____________________________________ DROP-IN VISITS: I would be dropping by your house to check in on your pet(s). Includes: - Letting dogs out for a potty break - Feeding + watering them - Playing + cuddling with them - Cleaning cat litter box - Pic or video updates _____________________________________ HOUSESITTING: My housesitting rate covers you for 24 hours. I would be coming to your home to watch over it, take care of your pet(s), and sleep overnight. I can also water your plants, check your mail, receive packages, and do some light cleaning – whatever you need! Includes: - A few walks a day and/or a few potty breaks in the yard for dogs - Feeding + watering them - Playing + cuddling with them - Cleaning cat litter box - Pic or video updates * Non-smoking homes only (tobacco). _____________________________________ DAY RATES: Great for those who have a puppy, kitten, or pet with anxiety or special needs and need someone to stay at their home with them for the day or just a few hours.
