I'm a sitter full-time that specializes in house sitting and drop ins. I used to work at a boarding facility and it causes nothing but anxiety for the majority of pets out there. I prefer to watch your fur babies in their own home where they are most familiar and comfortable.

Clean, fresh water is absolutely imperative. Its the first and last thing I check when going for a drop in, as well as refilling it as needed throughout my visit. I prefer to keep your fur babies on the feeding/walk/play/potty schedule they are used to so my stay transitions as seamlessly as possible into their everyday lives.

I would like to know if the dog is house trained so I can be on the look out when it comes to drop ins and house sitting. For walks, I would like to know how they do on leash. I will ask about feeding schedule, any medications, allergies, and any medical issues they have or have had in the past. I have to know if your pets are good with children as I have my kiddo with me 90% of the time. The only other thing I would need to know is if the dog has any aggression issues.
A typical day
I specialize in house sitting and drop ins, and will do walks. I do not offer day care or boarding currently, as I have a dog that is very particular about the dogs he gets along with. During a typical day, I do everything I can to keep your fur babies comfortable and on their regular schedule and routine. We play a lot and I am able to offer frequent potty breaks. Keeping your animals eating regularly is very important to me and I will start with adding some warm water to their food if they are skipping meals before escalating what I add to their food at the owners advice and approval.

We do overnight stays as a family, with myself, my partner, and our child. In doing this, we are able to ensure that your fur kiddos have a buddy with them at minimum 85-90% of the time you are away, at no extra cost to you! Singular sitters often times will charge an extra fee for Constant Care to be able to provide this level of attention to the furry members of your family. **Since this is how we run our business, we do require that any pets we work with are friendly with children.** _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I have always loved animals and dogs especially have always had a huge place in my heart. I have over a decade of professional experience working with a couple different breeders (chihuahuas, dachshunds, German shepherds) , at a vet clinic, grooming, and training. I am comfortable and confident when dealing with senior/special needs dogs, as I've had a few in my time. I am comfortable with oral, injectable and topical medications and take their schedules seriously. I am also comfortable following special diets. I am comfortable bathing and blow drying dogs, nail trims, expression of anal glands, ear cleaning and tear stain cleaning. I am a confident and assertive person when it comes to handling and keeping control of difficult situations. I have experience with house sitting in environments where there are cats, dogs, fish, turtles, and even horses. I have experience with aggressive dogs, and in most cases, can help with training at an additional cost. I am pet sitting full time, so your pet will get my full attention. My wife will be with me more often than not because we have a kiddo. Between the two of us, your pets will be attended to and loved on the whole time we are with them. At your house, your fur kids will get frequent outside/potty time, fresh water always, and fed according to their normal schedule. During meet and greets, i will ask to see the yard that they go out in, to ensure that i am aware of any holes in the fence. Regardless, i prefer to give them supervised time outside, just in case.

Tara was absolutely exceptional while taking care of our two fur babies. She was very communicative and always alert and sending pics. We will absolutely be confident in the future leaving them with her.
First time using Rover and I got the best! Tara came for a site visit before hand. My dog has anxiety if left alone for more than 5-6 hours so I needed someone who was going to be in my home more than they were way. I got photos and updates daily. Would highly recommend Tara and will book her again.
Tara is the best! We will definitely hire her again. My babies had a great time with her while we were away. She was in contact the entire time we were gone and sent pictures everyday.
