I am able to take my dog to work so your fur baby will have my husbands full attention while he works from home during the weekdays. We will both be able to tend to your pet during the evenings. If your pet is staying during the weekend, they will be with us the entire stay and have access to all day play; whether that be lounging around the house, playing in the back yard, or taking a field trip to the local near by park. We will accommodate the best that we can base on your pets’ needs. Communication is key so please let us know what it is your animal needs to feel safe with us.

We have a fenced in yard with access to dog toys; such as balls and safe to chew doggy rope. Inside our house, your animal will have their own area to drink water and eat their meals. We are able to crate your animal if needed. We also have a dog and cat to keep your animal company. Our cat can be kept in a separate part of the house if necessary but we will have our own doodle throughout your pet’s stay. We are also close to VCA Animal Hospital in case of emergencies.

Information Tara & Ryan A. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know the breed and age of the dog. This allows me to plan ahead age appropriate activities; especially if the dog is older and cannot do long walks. It is also important to know their dietary restrictions so the dog is safe and I can avoid any types of food in the house.
A typical day
To stimulate dogs, I like to take them on walks where they can get fresh air and sniff their hearts out. If it is raining and the dog does not like rain, it’s easy to tire them out with the dog puzzles I own. Sometimes I will also wrap treats in a towel and roll it up. This type of stimulus is equivalent to a 30 min walk. We also live by the American river where I know my dog enjoys a lot.

Pet care experience
We’ve both had pets growing up and we’re so lucky to be raising a cat and doodle together. We’re starting to settle down into our first family home that has a yard, we’re near parks, and we will both be watching your fur baby. Our 2 year old doodle is super friendly and is so inclusive to all dogs. We’re lucky to have jobs that allow us to either work from home or take our pet to work. Your animal will be treated like family and cared for their entire stay.

Tara and Ryan looked after our goldendoodle Brody for two nights in their home. They were responsive and kept me informed with updates as through the weekend. I can tell my dog was enjoyed playing with their dog and was treated like a member of the family! Will book again!
Tara was great! Super communicative and willing to help out with little things like adjusting the thermostat due to a cold snap. The cats aren't big on strangers but they were relaxed/not super needy when we came back, so they must have liked her!
Tara is the BEST! She's awesome with our cat, Riley, and is super attentive and responsible when it comes to Riley's care. Our cat is our baby, and we feel great knowing that Tara takes care of Riley like she is her own.
