I am a lifelong animal lover! We had ALL of the pets growing up, including farm animals. My adult children have grown up the same, with both furry and scaled friends. Sugar gliders, cats & dogs, Guiana pigs, hamsters, a horse, chickens, piglets, hermit crabs, a ball python and lots of fish over the years. I believe our pets are family. They need extra love and attention when we cannot be home with them.... whether that is a potty break while you are at work, a date or happy hour that would have you getting home later than usual, playtime to keep mischief at bay, a reliable housesitter so you can take off for a weekend getaway, or the peace of mind that someone you trust has the house and pets cared for while away on longer extended trips... Even a month or longer, I would love to spoil your babies whenever you need to be away!

Tara was wonderful and I recommend her. We were fortunate to find her. She took care of Sozin so well and she put my fears to rest. I was worried at first because I had scheduled time away, and he had been placed with us for only a few months. I could not bear to take him out of our home so soon after his arrival. Tara and her daughter Jay were a great team watching my 13-year-old dog, Muffin, who has separation anxiety. She was so relaxed and happy with them that she didn't even go crazy when she saw us (as she has in the past). It was the first time we had someone dogsit in our house, and it was a good experience that we expect to repeat.
Tara is amazing. She took the time to get to know our little Pete who is very shy around strangers. She knew to give him space and to let him come to her. Now they are best buds. She is always very reliable, trustworthy, and kind! We will definitely continue to use her services!

Schedule
We moved to the Collingswood NJ area 2 years ago and I’m retired from over 20+ years of birth work, so I am often available on short notice or sometimes even same day. I am willing to travel extended distances for overnight or long term housesitting. Available for house sitting in Philly, Jersey and the surrounding neighborhoods. I’m also in Clarksville Maryland, and Rehoboth Beach DE periodically. We have an 8 year old kitten named Beatrix. Our sweet 19 year old Tyson recently passed. Since I'm semi retired, my time is mostly my own and I love spending time with animals.

- Tell me all about your dog/cat/pets needs and personality so I am better able to care for any special preferences or health or feeding requirements... I will keep to your regular routine so your furry family member(s) will have very little disruption in daily walks, play, exercise or current training. Also, I like to know what your emergency plan is and vet info, just to be safe.
