I grew up in a family with 3 dogs and began caring for pets early on. In addition to walking and feeding my family's dogs, I provided pet sitting services for neighbors and friends. I also spent over 5 years volunteering at the local animal shelter where I assisted with animal care, training, and adoptions. It wasn't long before I was taking foster dogs home with me for the week. Throughout college, I worked at a small animal veterinary clinic, an exotic animal veterinary clinic, and an alpaca farm. I grew experienced taking high quality care of pets with a wide variety of needs. I will be alert to your pets' health and can administer oral medications and fluids as needed. Now, I work as a wildlife biologist, demonstrating my commitment to animal welfare. I have worked with a wide range of animals including birds, ferrets, snakes, rats, and more. I look forward to caring for your pets on my days off from work!
