Hi! My name is Tara and I’m on this app just for cats! My whole world revolves around them! At home I have my girl Patty, who is truly my baby, so I understand the importance of having someone you trust to check in and give you peace of mind. Because of that, I promise to care for your cat(s) as if they were my own, and to give you the same kind of updates and peace of mind that I would want if I were away from my Patty. My goal is always for them to feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while you're away, so when you come back they're happy, calm, and full of positive energy. 💕 I’ve been cat sitting for over two years now, and in that time I’ve truly seen it all. I’ve cared for shy cats who need patience and gentle love, playful cats who want nonstop attention, seniors who appreciate extra care, picky eaters who turn their noses up at dinner, and even the occasional cat who tries to bully the others away from the food bowl. I’ve dealt with messy litter box situations, anxious cats, and everything in between I am used to handling it all with patience and care. What I’ve learned throughout my experience is that every cat is completely different. Getting to know their personality and figuring out what makes them feel safe and comfortable is honestly one of my favorite parts of sitting. Some cats want space at first, some want to play the second you walk in, and some just want someone to sit with them for a little while. What sets me apart is that I genuinely love spending time with cats and making sure they feel relaxed while you’re away. I try to create a calm, stress free environment where they still get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, but always at their pace. After doing this for a couple of years, I’ve gotten really good at reading their behavior and adjusting to what each cat needs.

I care for your kitties right in their home so they can stay comfortable and stress free. At the same time, I treat your home with respect, making sure everything stays as you left it, and double check that the doors are locked when I leave, so you can come back to your kitties and your home exactly as you expect. Every visit comes with a little photo shoot for the cats who like showing off for the camera. For the more private cats who would rather stay in their favorite hangout spots or watch from across the room, I still try to grab a few shots even if they're not in the mood to model that day! I always try to get some cute updates so you can see how they're doing while you're away.

This is the second time Tara has watched our Magikarp and everything was great again! He remembered her and when I asked Tara to check on something for me, she did it and sent a picture! He always looks so happy in his pictures!

This was my first time booking with Tara and it definitely will not be the last! I only booked drop in visits, but Tara still offered to come over and meet my kitty before the stay began. She has such great communication skills, I was blown away! The pictures and updates eased all my anxiety about being away. Tara is a gem of a human!
Tara was wonderful with Siena and Zoomies! She was great about communicating when she was on her way for each drop-in visit and always sent updates on how the babies were doing. My cats can be pretty shy, so I really appreciated her patience with them. Tara is reliable, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with, which gave me great peace of mind.

Schedule
Cat sitting is my main focus, so I build my schedule around the cats I care for. Because of that, I'm able to be really flexible and reliable when it comes to visits and giving them the attention the need. You can count on me to be available every day and can come by in the morning, afternoon, and/or evening if needed. I can also stop by up to three times a day so your cat gets the care and attention they're used to. For cats who aren't on a strict medication or feeding schedule, I prefer to keep visits flexible or within a time window. Since I travel within a five mile radius in all directions, this allows me to plan my route efficiently.
