I am a student at SOU. My availability is as follows: Monday: 8am - 12pm & 5pm on. Tuesday: 10am - 3pm. Thursday: 1pm on. Friday - Sunday: All day.

I live with roommates that have a dog & two cats, so I will not be able to accommodate my clients’ dogs or cats in my own home at this time. However, in my clients home, I will give your dog &/or cat lots of love. I plan to enforce the same type of training & commands that their owners use.

A typical day
I have confidence walking and even running with dogs. I have a very active lifestyle & love being outside, so having a dog with me would make my experiences significantly more fun. I can take dogs to the nearby dog park & walk/run them wherever, including on trails. If your dog were to get dirty, they would get a nice warm bath!

Pet care experience
I’ve had the pleasure of growing up with dogs since I was a baby. As a kid I helped my dad train our black labs (Apache & Meg) to hunt. Into my teens I trained my two German-short haired pointers (Gretchen & Pluto) and my yellow lab (Daisy) to be good family dogs. Pet-sitting was one of the first “jobs” I had starting at the age of about 10. I have previously & am willing to also pet-sit cats.

I have seen Tara care for over twenty animals in her lifetime. From cats and dogs to the random gecko she rescued, Tara is the most caring animal lover I know. Her responsibility is evident, her love for animals is obvious, and the joy plastered on every animal’s face (that is under her care) is heart warming. Fear not - when entrusting your pet to Tara you are guaranteeing a wonderful time for your furry friend and peace of mind for yourself. I highly recommend her as a caregiver, and so would any dog.
