Hi! I’m Tara, and I’ve been working with animals for over 20 years. My experience includes dog walking, grooming, managing large boarding kennels and dog-walking services, working as a veterinary technician, and leading an emergency and specialty veterinary hospital. Caring for pets has been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and getting plenty of love while you’re away. I’m happy to provide that extra TLC and make my home feel like their home away from home. ❤️ I have three friendly, short-legged doggos of my own who love having dog friends around, and we’re always happy to welcome another pup into our crew! Your fur kid will be treated like part of the family, with plenty of attention, snuggles, playtime, and care tailored to their individual needs. My veterinary background also means I’m comfortable with senior pets, medications, special needs, and recognizing when something just doesn’t seem quite right. Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or prefers a quieter place to relax, my goal is simple: keep them safe, comfortable, loved, and happy while you’re away. 🐾

Tara is by far the best sitter my little baby has had. I was nervous because he’s such a little guy but she did such a good job with making sure he (and mainly me lol) was comfortable. He was treated like he was her own dog and easily fit right in with her fur babies! All my future sitting needs will be with Tara and I suggest you consider as well!

She charges a little bit more than others in the area, but definitely worth it! My new (second) dog is an adult rescue and has some behavioral issues that we are working on with the trainer. Tara was great with them both and they were clearly happy in the daily update photos and videos. We did a long meet and greet with her dogs beforehand to make sure everyone would be comfortable.
Tara is amazing! She and her husband did so much to set my mind at ease when I was leaving my 13 year old, newly-diabetic corgi in their care. She is very responsive, sending me updates, including pics and video, throughout Sullie’s stay with her. And her two Bassett hounds were so accepting of Sullie and respectful of “old lady” boundaries she set. I am so happy to have found her and we look forward to future stays with her. Thank you Tara!
Tara was wonderful with my pup Louie. She frequently updated me on how he was doing with messages and pictures. She was so easy to work with from the meet and greet, to the pick up and drop offs. She was very warm and welcoming. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.

Schedule
I work fulltime at a veterinary ER and speciality center. During the day I separate any house guests and my dogs to keep everyone safe.
