Come, play and stay. Dog lover who works from home
I come from a long line of other dog fanatics. Our furry companions have always been a huge part of my life, from new born pups to our senior dogs who were a huge part of our family. I have been through all of the stages of dog ownership and have experience with many different breeds including but not exclusive to Labradors, Spaniels, Lurchers, Bedlington Terriers, Dobermann's, the list goes on. I now have two dogs of my own and a little tabby cat called ELka, I have fallen into the trap of treating them like my own children! I am the proud owner of Freki the two year old Lurcher and Rui the One year old Doberman. They are both very well socialised and love to play. I am mainly looking to care for dogs of all sizes who also don't mind playing and socialising with my two pups. I have no been pet sitting on ROVER for the last two years so my two pooches are very used to (and love) visitors. I look forward to welcoming your pooch to the pack!

Stella had a great time as always and I could tell Tara took good care of her and kept us up to date throughout the day.
Tara has been absolutely incredible! We really wanted our Labrador Mabel to be in a family home whilst we were on holiday for 2 weeks. We had regular updates throughout and although we missed her, I wasn’t worried at all. Tara’s dogs and cat are all lovely, and Mabel soon became one of the pack. I couldn’t recommend her enough, and we’ll definately me using her again 🌟
Tara was wonderful from start to finish. We had an initial meet and greet in a dog field to get to know each other and ensure our dogs got on with one another. Then we were invited to her house to see where our dog would be staying. She kept in constant communication whilst taking care of our Stella and provided us with some lovely photos and videos of what she got up to. Stella was really settled and we had no doubt she was in good hands, which really helped as this was the first time we had left Stella with a dog sitter. I highly recommend Tara she’s lovely.
Tara was absolutely amazing with our Doberman! I felt so at ease and comfortable leaving our dog with Tara for 2 nights, she is brilliant. Tara sent us regular updates throughout and our dog had the best time ever :) I would 1000% recommend Tara as a dog sitter - she is really professional, has a great home environment and we had just an all round fantastic experience. Her dogs are also so lovely and well behaved!
Tara treated Evie like one of her own, right from the start. Evie had a great time and came back happy, and of course super tired from having so much fun!
Tara was absolutely amazing! I left our whippet Willow with Tara for 1 week, and I don’t think she wanted to come back home..! Tara’s two dogs are super lovely, & Willow and Rui loved playing together. Tara constantly sent me pictures & videos of Willow, which let me know she was in the best hands. You can tell Tara just loves doggos!

Schedule
I work from home Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays in the world of Film and TV. I will always have plenty of time to give extra love and attention to your furry friends I am available for boarding on weekends and during the week (Barring Wednesdays and Thursdays) At the moment I am mainly focusing on dog boarding at my terraced home in Leeds. Please note: My Doberman Rui is big and playful and still not quite out of her puppy days. If your dog prefers older calmer dogs then I may not be quite the right match for your doggie. I also have a cat, she is very well socialised with dogs but if your pooch is not a cat fan then we might not be quite the right home from home for you.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced fully secure yard as well as two very friendly dogs of my own that will keep your dog entertained. Both are females and love dogs of all shapes and sizes! We have plenty of dog toys, kongs and snuffle mats to get that extra energy out if needed. Both of my girls are unspayed females, so please take this into consideration when enquiring. I can easily crate any dogs who are in crate training. I also have a puppy pen and plenty of snuggly blankets if they need a little time out. There is a park directly behind my house and plenty of walks in the countryside only a five minute walk from my home. My pups are fully vaccinated, well socialised and love to have visitors come over for play dates! Your pet's safety and happiness are paramount. I aim to create a stress free and fun environment for everyone! Please ensure your pups worm and flea treatment is up to date !

A typical day
With my two puppers, we like to do a mixture of mental stimulation and physical stimulation each day. This can be frozen kongs, snuffle mats, obedience training, scent work or just letting them smell all of the interesting scents on their daily walks. Having two very different breeds myself, I understand how their needs differ. Rui the Dobie loves anything that gets her brain ticking where as Freki loves to run as fast as she can in circles in the local park. There is a park directly behind my house for shorter walks however my favourite places to go are Middleton Park, Ardsley Reservoir and Meanwood Park for some exploring and adventures.

- For new pet owners, a meet and greet is compulsory prior to any confirmation.This will often take place at a private enclosed dog park (I will book) I may also suggest a trial night for longer stays. The cost of this will be deducted off your final total booking. Please let me know the below information in regards to your pet. As I have two dogs of my own, it is important that your pooches don't mind other female dogs / a cat. My Doberman Rui is big and playful and still not quite out of her puppy days. If your dog prefers older calmer dogs please let me know as I may not be quite the right match for you Please also let me know in regards to any particular obedience training you are doing with you pet and I will ensure I maintain this. E.g. must sit and wait for eye contact before eating meals or not allowed upstairs.
