A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and mentally engaged during our time together! Depending on your dog’s energy level and personality, we’ll enjoy fun walks around the neighborhood, explore nearby parks, and take plenty of sniff breaks (because that’s the best part for them!). I also like to mix in playtime with toys, light games like fetch or tug, and even a bit of basic training practice to keep their minds sharp. For more relaxed pets, we can enjoy slower strolls, cuddle breaks, and calm activities. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, stimulated, and has a great time while you’re away.

What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with animals—I’ve grown up raising both cats and dogs, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I also have over a year of customer service experience, including time spent working at a pet store, where I learned even more about animal care, behavior, and building trust with both pets and their owners. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals.

Tara is a loving, kind and affectionate dog lover. She dog sat my 65-pound Aussiedoodle, Bodhi, off and on for over four years, and I always felt confident that he was in good hands and Tara would take good care of him. Bodhi could get quite excited and Tara handled his energy with patience and skill. She was very reliable with his feeding schedule and walks, and always came prepared with treats just in case he needed some extra training. She knew exactly how to manage Bodhi's enthusiasm and kept him happy and well-cared for. And when I'd come home after being away for the day or evening, I always return to find Bodhi relaxed, exercised, and clearly well-loved. Tara is trustworthy, caring, and genuinely loves looking after our furry family members.
