I don’t know what she fed my dog but he immediately had explosive diarrhea after I picked him up. She also didn’t return one of his toys which is inconvenient since it’s his favorite, and the communication was below average. Usually sitters will sporadically text me through the day without me needing to check in with them. They’ll send photos and videos of his well being, but in this case I received only one text in the morning for 3 days when she had him for 5. The messages were basic like “he’s so adorable”, “he’s doing great this morning”, “we’re still doing great”. Normally I get more thorough messages like how he’s doing with other dogs, what his poop looks like, what they’re doing, and his behavior changes. She had him for 5 days and I only received 3 photos of him total, which were all taken outside in the backyard. I’m not sure if he was ever inside or what he did the rest of the day. Im not sure if he has diarrhea because of the stress or if he ate something outside of his premium kibbles, but now I have to make an inconvenient visit to the vet. Maybe I should’ve paid more for someone else’s services but I’ve also paid less and received high quality petsitting.

Tara is so sweet! Her home is beautiful and comfortable for the pups. I could tell my dog really enjoyed his stay when I picked him up. He was happy and kept racing back to her to share his excitement. I had no worries leaving him with Tara and she provided me with multiple updates with photos.
