hi I’m Tara Long, I’ve worked at 49th Street as pet care supervisor on November 16th, 2022. I have has studied and learned many pet behaviors to diligently inform clients of their pets’ well-being. I have been training and caring for dogs since I was 14 years old. My experience began with my pets, Daisy-May and Nala, and continued as I branched out to family and friends. Once I turned 18, I’d brought my dog behavior and caretaking knowledge to 49th streets facility. Then later on in life I got married and wanted to become a stay at home mom. I surely have missed working with dogs and then I found Rover so I can bring the work I love most home. I love to care for the animals by interpreting their emotions and behaviors and using that information to socialize them properly. I am very informative with the clients about training techniques and behaviors, ensuring they receive the best care possible. I enjoy my time with working and caring for pets; and would love to continue my education by consuming countless resources. I am so excited to meet your fur baby – Book for daycare or boarding now!

My high energy puppy had a blast with her other dogs, Tara sent lots of pictures of Nina playing all day. Highly recommend.
We live outside of Fr. Worth Tx., and were visiting Durant. We needed to have someone watch our pup for a few hours while we visited the casino. This was the first time we had used a day care for our pup so we were a little apprehensive about leaving her in a strange place. We felt more comfortable once we met Tara. She seemed truly concerned about making the "doggie daycare" experience a positive one. Tara kept us updated on how our pup was doing which was great. We would use Tara again if needed. Tara took the best care of our two dogs for the third time and we are very happy with her dog sitting. We have a younger very high energy dog and a 100 pound Rottweiler who is very sad being away from home but both dogs had a great time and I could tell they were very happy with their stay. Five stars for sure!

Tara took great care of my boy. She made sure he was comfortable with her and her dogs and he enjoyed every moment playing and relaxing with her. I will definitely book again if I ever need to. Thank you Tara and family for looking out for my big baby.

I’m home all day and i’ll be with them the whole stay your fur baby will be loved and taken good care of. They will have someone with them 24/7 ❤️😊

I have a fenced in yard and 4 friendly dogs I will provide going on walks if needed, Shelter, and water . And lots of playtime, depending on their temperament.

Your pups will be out most of the day playing and I also love enrichment activities for dogs like lick mats Kong toy and sniff mats
