I’m a dog lover with a friendly pup, Ollie, who enjoys making new dog friends. Whether you’re skiing in Whistler or away on a trip, I’ll care for your dog like my own—providing plenty of love, attention, and adventures! Ollie gets along great with most dogs, but due to a few past experiences, he’s not the best match with German Shepherds or Huskies. He gets along best with chill dogs that have low/medium energy.

Tara and Ollie were awesome with my pup Lou. I appreciated going for an intro walk beforehand. Tara was thorough in learning about Lou and sent lots of updates along the way. It was my first time hiring a dog sitter and not once did I have a doubt that Lou was being well taken care of. Thanks Tara!
Tara took great care of our dog ganache on very short notice on 2 occasions. You can tell that she loves dogs. Our dog told us she has the best treats.
Tara is the absolute best. She takes such good care of our 2 dogs. She takes them on long walks every day and gives them lots of love and attention. We receive regular photos of their adventures and have absolute peace of mind while we are away.
Tara was easy to communicate with, punctual and great with our elderly pup. Her dog Ollie was well behaved and my dog warmed to him right way. I'd happily arrange future walks with them.

Schedule
As a teacher, I work M-F from 8-4. Your pet would need to be okay being at home during those hours. I can do a short walk before work and a long walk or hike after work. Evenings and weekends are for adventuring with the doggos, either hiking or mountain biking :) I have the summers off, as well as 2 weeks over Christmas and 2 weeks off in March.

My house is puppy proof and dog friendly. I will care for your dog like it is my own, and make sure their needs are met. My preference is to board dogs in my own home rather than housesit.

A typical day
A typical day would include a walk or hike somewhere nearby, maybe a visit to the dog park for off leash time. Biking if they’re able to. Playing with toys at home and lots of cuddles!
