SCHEDULE: I work from home full-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with and attend to your pup! In the event that I need to leave home, I can easily crate or secure them safely in one of my rooms (or take them with me if the destination is dog-friendly!).

I’d love to understand your dog’s temperament, unique quirks and preferences, what to avoid, and if they have any special needs or behaviors that I should account for during their stay (e.g. allergies, separation anxiety, medication schedule, likes to dance at night, lol!). I'd also need to know if they are prone to barking, as I work from home full-time and am often on client calls. Thank you in advance for these details - I want to make sure your pup is as comfortable as possible and has a positive experience during their stay!
A typical day
ACTIVITIES: I live less than 5 minutes from Saratoga Park, so I’m happy to take your pup there for a stroll or to relax on a blanket! I also love taking long evening walks, so if your pup would enjoy joining by sling/backpack/stroller, we can make that happen too. I’m accustomed to senior / low energy dogs, so I’m happy give give your fur baby space or simply relax if that’s what they prefer ☺️ I’m also down to play fetch or gently rough-house with your pup if they’re high-energy and enjoy that kind of play as well.

Hi there! Joining Rover a few years ago was truly one of the best decisions ever! I genuinely enjoy spending time with pups and can’t wait to shower yours with snuggles and cuddles, or whatever makes them feel safe and loved! Shortly before joining Rover, I had the pleasure and honor of caring for my sweet, senior chihuahua rescue for 6 years (😇🕊️), so I am experienced with the day-to-day care and considerations required when caring for a small and/or aging pet. I also know how it feels to be a little nervous about leaving your beloved fur baby in the care of someone else: wondering if they'll be as attentive and loving towards them as you are, and if your pup will feel comfortable and happy. I felt the same way with my pup and found some wonderful sitters here on Rover - that experience made me want to become a sitter myself and provide the same reassurance and peace of mind to others.

Tara was so great! She was the sweetest and so attentive to our little guy Spaghetti. She gave wonderful updates and gave him lots of extra love and snuggles when he was feeling anxious after being dropped off. We'll be happy to leave our boy in her care again!

Tara has been my go-to caretaker for Penny and I continue to come back. She’s attentive to Penny’s needs and behaviors and she communicates any changes of those while she’s in her care. Her updates are frequent and clear and I full trust in her while Im on travel! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Tara has watched my dog many times now over the last year and every single time is fantastic! She is extremely nice & professional, has strong communication and my little guy is always so happy when he’s with her. He’s always in a far better mood when picking him up from Tara’s house compared to other sitters we’ve used. Will always use her when we can!
