I got my first pets at four years old and have loved animals ever since. I’ve been working as a veterinary assistant for the last six years (including emergency veterinary medicine). I have extensive experience with small exotics, birds reptiles, amphibians, dogs and cats. Animals are my first love.

Tara did a great job with my 2 Morkies while I was on vacation! She kept me confident in her care with frequent updates and photos. I truly felt like I was leaving them with family. I highly recommend Tara and will definitely be using her in the future!
I am a first time user of the Rover app and have never left my almost 10 year old Yorkie Poo at home with a visitor drop in, he has always been watched by a family member so I was a little weary. I could not be happier that Tara was the person in charge of my little dog, she is a dream come true to a pet owner. My dog is just one plain weird dog, he has a lot of quirks and personality, but Tara handled any strange thing he did with grace and ease. She was attentive, professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the whole process. Tara is a true animal lover and views your pet like one of her own - highly recommend any service she has to offer.
My two sweet dogs are spoiled and loved beyond measure. I don’t trust many people with them. Their breed is very people focused and I won’t board them. Tara provides excellent care for them and treats them like the little princesses they are. I’ve not known many people who genuinely love animals as Tara does. She also tends to my elderly special needs kitty. Having a vet tech’s skills and a pet lover’s heart make her perfect for my needs. She’s thoughtful and attentive and also sends a picture or text on occasion to let me know how things are going. My “girls” love her!
Tara has been carrying for our pets for over five years. She visits everyday and goes above and beyond. She cares for our cat (food, water, litter) and spends the extra time visiting to keep our cat company. She feeds our fish and cares for our axolotl. She checks the water perimeters, cleans the tank and feeds the axolotl. I would recommend Tara to anyone looking for a responsible pet care giver.
Tara was amazing with our pets, she watched our two labs and our cat. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the time she was with them, and took into account every note we left for her. I *almost* think my dogs were disappointed when we got home! She was very detail oriented and made sure to ask every question in the book before we left. 10/10 recommend Tara to watch your fur babies!

Schedule
I currently work 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday. I will be available for your baby as much as possible and will change my schedule if needed to make it as easy as possible for your kiddos.
