I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. I’ve had almost every kind of animal from fish, snakes, gerbils, hamsters, birds, cats, dogs and even a chinchilla. I have worked at a local pet store, where I was trained on animal care and nutrition. I have also volunteered to help a nonprofit rescue group located in St. Louis. I have also fostered multiple dogs for a different nonprofit rescue group in Troy, MO. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to care for thier pets. I have even taken care of diabetic cats and have administered insulin to them.

Tara took wonderful care of our Bandit. We are very particular about our pet sitter and Tara filled the bill in every way possible. We feel so blessed to have found Tara. Bella LOVES her time with Tara's family. She is older and had started really stressing when going to a kennel, but she considers Tara's house her second home now, and we are so very relieved that we can continue our travels and know that Bella will be loved and cared for and not worry about her. I highly recommend Tara as a pet sitter. She took wonderful care of my two dogs and my cats, sending daily updates and pictures that gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She was especially caring and attentive with my senior dog, making sure to adjust to his specific needs and routine. It’s clear she truly loves animals and treats them like her own. Schedule
I am currently home full-time to care for your pet! If I do need to leave the house it is for no longer than 1-2 hours max. My husband is home full time and is also able to help with my boarding friends 🐾

I have a big fenced backyard for your pup to run around and play in. I have a two year old cavapoo, a five month old son and a four year old who would love to play with your pup! I have a spare large kennel if you would like to use for your pets vist or feel free to bring your own!

A typical day
My number one priority is safety and comfort for your pet. I have a fenced in yard which will be utilized for play and potty breaks. I do encourage that you bring your pet’s own personal kennel during thier stay (but it is not necessary). While you are away, you can have the peace of mind knowing your pup is in great care! I will love your pet as if they were my own! I have a very clean and sanitized space. I also have a smoke-free home. I only keep a very limited amount of pups at once to ensure a safe and relaxed environment for everyone!
