Loving Care From Someone Who Truly Understands Hi, I’m Tara! 🐾 A few weeks ago, I said goodbye to my best friend, my boy, after almost 16 incredible years together. He was my everything, and caring for him through every stage of his life taught me more about dogs than I ever could have imagined. I always had a hard time finding someone I truly trusted to care for him. My mom was the person who always helped me, and after losing her in 2023, finding that same sense of comfort and trust became even harder. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone, especially when they need extra attention, medication, patience, or simply someone who will sit with them and make them feel loved. I would especially say I have a soft spot for senior dogs. ❤️ After nearly 16 years with my own dog, I learned through plenty of trial and error how to care for an aging pup and adjust to their changing needs. I know that sometimes the little things make the biggest difference. I work full-time remotely, which gives me flexibility to provide the kind of attention dogs deserve. I’m not looking to fill my schedule with as many dogs as possible. I’m here because I have so much love to give and I know there are dogs out there who need a little extra care and companionship. I’m not quite ready to have another dog of my own yet. The love I had for my boy after 16 years is hard to put into words, and I’m still learning how to navigate life without him. Caring for other dogs feels like a really special way for me to continue giving that love while I heal and, someday, prepare for another dog of my own. My promise to you is simple: I will treat your dog like they are my own. I’ll take the extra steps, pay attention to the little things, communicate with you, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how hard it is to find someone you can truly trust with your best friend.
