I have been a dog mom since 2001. I have owned dogs, we have fostered dogs, and I have dog -sat family dogs for years. Now that our old pup girl has gracefully crossed the rainbow bridge, I am ready to help others, while also taking care of my family as we move into the next chapter of our lives. I am happy to help my community by offering help for any upcoming vacation travels, business trips, or family obligations where pups cant come.

Tara was so incredible to work with and we knew our dog Frank was in amazing care! We quickly and easily set up a meet and great and she was so easy to communicate with and book for our trip. Tara provided many updates of their adventures and Frank had a blast. Would highly recommend and will be using her again :)
Tara was awesome! I received so many updates about Rex and she was super responsive. She has a great set up with a yard, kids to play with, etc. They all took such good care of him and made him feel right at home. It was nice not having to worry about our dog at all cause we knew he was getting the time and attention he needed. She went above and beyond in all ways to make him feel loved! We will definitely use Tara any time we need someone to watch our dog.
Poe enjoyed another great stay with Tara. She’s amazing. He is my gentle giant and she and the boys took such great care of him and made him feel like family. Tara is communicative and a true animal person. Thank you for always welcoming my big boy and for your kindness!
I cannot brag enough about Tara and her family. We are very hesitant of leaving our fur baby with anyone but Tara. It is always a smooth trip, great communication, and constant updates. This is our second stay and already booked the third! She is a blessing!

I am mostly stay at home mom, I am available for dog care in my daily and weekly routine without much outside obligation at this time.

I have a fenced in yard and plenty of room for dogs of all sizes. I have an awesome walking path to get extra exercise! I am happy to serve our community by loving all its dogs!
A typical day
I love waking up to a doggy alarm clock that says it’s time to get up and get outside first thing! After letting out the pups in my nice big backyard, I make sure food and water bowls are filled and ready for breakfast. I start making breakfast for my kiddos, and then whatever daily chores we have are next. In the late morning, we will go outside again for some play time while my kids are at school or are home jumping on the trampoline or playing outside, riding bikes, or roller blading. After, we come inside for a cool down and lunch. Dogs will know where to go outside and wait at the door as needed for outside time. After lunch/dinner we have music lessons. In that time the dogs would be home in crates, or most welcome to come in the car, if they are good in the car! When we get home, dog walks or more outside time to play and run around. After that we come home to start dinner and evening chores, feeding time for pups and toy time or snuggle lazy time by the couch! At night, I bring the dog beds near my bed so I keep them close to me if they need me.

- We do not leave unattended dogs in our home for their safety and for my sanity so if I leave the home, dogs will be crated. Also, unless your dog is a puppy, any marking dogs would need more attention, if your dog marks please let me know in advance. Any medications needed, special diets or dietary needs, and any sickly dogs prone for have diarrhea or vomiting spells I would want to know in advance. Any special needs would need to be made clear. How many walks needed or expected outside time please make clear at drop off. Any special toy or blanket that the dog loves would need to be here too for comfort.
