Our Duke had a blast at Tara’s! He was very nervous at first as he has separation anxiety in new places. Tara made him feel safe and at home right away. She gave daily updates along with super cute photos. We will definitely be using Tara in the future. She was the best sitter we have had!
Yogi had a great stay with Tara! Communicated well throughout his whole stay and came home a happy and worn out pup. Would recommend to anyone looking for some to care for their dog.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Tara. She took wonderful care of our German Shepherds and handled everything with confidence and ease. From daily routines to overall care, everything was managed seamlessly and without a single issue. For the first time, we were able to go on vacation and truly relax, knowing our dogs were in great hands. That peace of mind is priceless, especially with large breeds like German Shepherds. We came home to happy, well cared for dogs and a calm, orderly home. We are incredibly grateful and would be more than happy to have her care for our dogs again. Highly recommended.

Schedule
At this time, we only take one dog at a time or two if from the same family. For the past 15 years my passion has been my animal photography business, most of the work is done in my home studio in Kailua where, dogs will hang out with me. Suitable dogs can get trips to the beach and off-leash hiking, but otherwise leashed walks in the neighborhood.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks My home is in a very quiet neighborhood with low traffic. Walking and exercising our boarded pets is a ‘daily ritual.’ Your dog's sleeping arrangement A boarded pet’s access to our facility depends upon the individual pet and the owner’s expressed preferences. Time I'll spend with your dog An ample amount of time is spent with each of our boarded animals; much of which is one-on-one, as we’re home, at our facility the majority of the 24-hour day. As a professional animal photographer, we do on occasion partake in offsite photo shoots; however, this has not been a conflict or problematic in the past.
