I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and provide loving attention to their pets, whether for a quick visit or extended stays. I’ve worked at PetSmart and Ulta. I currently run a pet sitting and dog walking business called The Pet Nannies, where we also administer medications and offer overnight care when needed. I’ve completed animal behavior trainings through One Albuquerque’s volunteer program, including safe chemical handling, cat and dog behavior, and fraidy cat training. I’m dependable, compassionate, and prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety.

I have a quiet, smoke-free home with two friendly cats and no kids or dogs—perfect for pets who prefer a calmer space. I also have a fenced-in backyard where your pup can play fetch, sunbathe, or just relax on the patio furniture while getting some love. I'm active and happy to take your dog (or adventurous cat!) on walks or runs. Whether in your home or mine, I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for.

My dog was so sad to see Tara leave! He really loved the walks and the time she spent playing with him. She is very present and knowledgeable about pets needs and taught me a thing or two about pet psychology. I highly recommend her! She is my go to pet sitter
I have been fortunate to have Tara help care for our sweet Westie, Lily and cat, Khloe when we are away. I always feel st peace and confident that she is taking wonderful care of our fur babies and home while we are away. Tara is very detailed oriented and mindful of what our pets need at every moment. I have known Tara for most of my life. She is an avid animal lover. From rescuing a baby squirrel in her backyard to being the best reptile mom. Schedule
I’m in the process of leaving my full-time job so I can focus on school, I'm studying wildlife conservation, and support myself by doing something I love: taking care of animals! I’ve got plenty of flexibility during the week and weekends for walks, drop-ins, boarding, or house sitting. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m excited to make it my main focus while I work toward my degree.
