My experience for the last 7 years has been raising and training working search and rescue dogs. I also have a combined 10 years of volunteering and fostering with rescues and animal shelters. I especially love caring for senior dogs ensuring they are given their best years with the love and grace they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment
If your dog is staying with me, they will enjoy 13 fenced-in acres with supervised exploration and playtime. When not outside playing, they will stay in my home with me. I also have heavy duty indestructible crates for those that need the extra help staying in their crate!

Tara Ferrell has been an advocate for animals since early childhood. Pets have always been in her daily life. They seem to sense that she loves them and are drawn to her everywhere she goes. Tara tries to educate herself and others on the care and training of dogs and cats especially. She currently has two nationally certified Search and Rescue German Boxers and she is also Nationally certified SAR. She established Uwharrie Search and Rescue, a non-profit organization.

Schedule
As my jobs for the last 12 years have been working from home, I have time to also take care of your pets! My 3 dogs and 1 cat are my family and I understand the trust you need for me to take care of your family as well.
