Hi I’m Tara! I grew up my entire life with anywhere from 1-3 dogs and have a hard time not saying hello to every dog I pass on the sidewalk. While I do not have my own dog in NYC, I really miss spending time with animals and would love to get to know your pet! I live in an elevator and doorman building in a large 1 BR apartment with room for your pet to move around comfortably. I have quick access to the East River for nice walks or can travel up to Central Park or Bryant Park. I am true animal-lover and would be thrilled to help you out by providing a welcoming, fun, and comfortable place for your pet to stay. I am extremely responsible, responsive, friendly, caring, but most importantly will treat your pet like my own – giving them all my love, care, and attention.

Tara was so sweet with my dog Poe! I always get nervous leaving my dog with new people as she is shy and takes a while to trust humans. Poe instantly loved Tara, which in my opinion shows how great and trustworthy Tara is. She kept me updated throughout the day and sent so many cute pictures which I appreciated. Definitely would recommend using Tara to watch your dog as I will be using her in the future.
Fantastic rover sitter! My dog has severe separation anxiety, but Tara really helped to ease his anxiety and made him feel right at home. She was flexible with scheduling and made the entire experience stress-free, and sent photos throughout his stay. I highly recommend Tara!

Schedule
I'm currently working from home, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays, and can take your dog for multiple walks during the day!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spacious one bedroom apartment for your dog to play around in, I also live on a quiet residential street and can play all day long! Although I don’ t have a crate, I am happy to crate your dog if you’d like to bring one!
A typical day
We'll play with toys and go for long walks either on the East Side River, Central Park, or just around the neighborhood! I have no problem taking your dog to the dog park if you are comfortable with that!
