Pet Sitter – 15+ Years of Experience I have over 15 years of experience caring for a wide variety of pets, providing dependable, compassionate, and attentive care in both home and foster environments. My experience includes caring for dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and other household and farm animals with a strong focus on their individual needs, safety, comfort, and well-being. My responsibilities have included feeding and providing fresh water, administering basic medications when required, exercise and play, maintaining clean living spaces, monitoring behaviour and health, and providing plenty of companionship and attention. I am comfortable caring for animals with different personalities, ages, energy levels, and routines. I also have extensive experience with young and vulnerable animals, including bottle-feeding and caring for kittens and puppies, as well as supporting animals that require additional patience, supervision, and reassurance. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of animal behaviour and am committed to treating every pet as if they were my own. I am reliable, responsible, patient, and comfortable handling the day-to-day responsibilities that come with caring for animals.

Tara is absolutely a beautiful soul! She loves animals and it shows. My lil boy just loves her. She is professional, punctual and is very accommodating. She learned his routine, cues and needs so quickly. I am very pleased with my experience and will continue to work with her as we navigate the puppy stage! We rented a house in Flatrock for 6 months, I was glad to have Tara watch my fur baby every day for 5 of those! She has great rates and the dogs have so much fun. I find comfort in knowing she is home with him all day, playing with him, and sending photos and videos of his days. I hope to find some place as inviting and comfortable as Tara’s once we get settled in our new house.
I love having Tara come check on my fur baby when I’m at work for 8+ hours a day. I had a hard time trying to find someone that Rufus likes. Thank you for caring for him!
Great care giver. She lights up when she sees Buddy. She really cares for them as if they were her own.I would highly recommend Tara as your dog walker.
I would not leave my dogs in anyone elses care aside of Taras! They are my babies. I only trust someone as compassionate and loving towards them as I am. Tara manages to handle all three with no trouble at all. Their barks are worse than their bites ! ;)

Schedule
This is my full time job! I arrange around their schedule's. I have an early morning routine at home, and then proceed with scheduled bookings.

Pets in my home are treated like family. They are treated with love and respect, given as much attention as they want and as many treats as allowed. In your home, I respect your home and your privacy. I am in to complete my job, and out again, ensuring your property is locked and animals are safe.
A typical day
I enjoy walking, jogging, and running on roadsides and trails. Pool fun for dogs in the warm months. Cats boarding are treated with home grown cat nip and new toys per visit.
