Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. Between the two of us, there is almost always someone home, which allows us to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our home is clean, dog-friendly, and set up to minimize stress. Dogs have space to relax, and we maintain a balanced routine of play, rest, and walks so no one becomes overstimulated. We have a secure backyard for regular outdoor time, potty breaks, and safe, supervised play throughout the day. We also have a dedicated dog room that is just for them. It's a comfortable, quiet space where dogs can relax, decompress, or have separation if needed. Because we have two resident dogs (DJ Dewey and Grampaw Milton), safety and compatibility are extremely important to us. We only accept dogs who are friendly, non-aggressive, and do well in a shared home environment.

Information Tara D. would like to know about your pet
To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, we like to learn as much as possible about your dog ahead of time. We also require a meet & greet prior to booking to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. The more we know, the better we can create a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for your dog 🤍
A typical day
A typical day in our home is calm, structured, and tailored to the dogs’ needs and energy levels. Mornings start with potty breaks in the backyard, breakfast, and a relaxed start to the day. After everyone settles, we ease into light playtime or a walk depending on the dog’s routine. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy a mix of supervised play, outdoor time in our secure backyard, and plenty of rest. We’re very mindful about balancing activity with downtime so dogs don’t become overstimulated. We incorporate: • Short walks or fresh air breaks • Gentle play and social time (when appropriate) • Cozy rest time in the home or dedicated dog room • One-on-one attention and affection In the afternoon and evening, we wind down with another round of outdoor time, dinner, and a calm, relaxed environment so the dogs can settle in comfortably for the night. Every dog is different, so we adjust the day based on their personality. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home from the moment they arrive.

Tara was amazing ! She was super communicative and sent photo updates. Jackie looked SO happy and I felt comfortable that she was in safe hands :) highly recommend Tara !

Tara was great with Roscoe! She sent me videos/pictures and was very responsive! Roscoe seemed very happy there! I will definitely use her again!
Tara watches my dogs anytime I need. She is extremely reliable and punctual. My dogs love her and get so excited anytime they see her. She plays with my dogs and helps train them. I can always trust that my dogs and my home are in great hands when I have to leave.
Tara is one of the most passionate animal lovers on this planet. She has helped rescue many abandoned dogs in her hometown out of the kindness of her heart. She currently owns two dogs who she loves dearly. I have had her sit with my dogs multiple times, and honestly would prefer her over any other sitter I've worked with.
