Hi! My name is Tara. I live in Spencer with my cat, a golden retriever named Cane, and a French bulldog named Elsie. I graduated from Iowa Lakes with my vet tech degree in 2017 and shortly after graduating I started working at a veterinary practice as a veterinary receptionist. I have many years of pet sitting experience and love it! I have taken care of cats and dogs of all sizes and with many medical needs. My services include drop in visits to let out, feed, and walk multiple times per day or having your pet stay with me in my home. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while in my care and stick to their normal routine as best as I can.

Tara took great care of our cat, Bella! She came ahead of time to meet Bella (and us) and they hit it off right away! She sent us pictures while she was with Bella and let us know how she was doing. We are very pleased to know about Rover and Tara! We will definitely ask Tara to come back when we need a cat sitter again!

Schedule
I work full time during the week. During the day your pet is let out in the morning, over my lunch hour, and when I’m off work it’s supper and play until bedtime.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an unfenced yard. All dogs are leashed or on a tie out in my front yard. I do require kennel trained pets while I am away and at bedtime. For drop in services, I am able to be there 4 times per day.

What we like to do for fun is: play with my 2 dogs, go for walks around the neighborhood, make dog treats, spend time outside, cuddle on the couch, and make crafts for pet parents.
