Hi! My name is Tara, and I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, from cats to poodles and other dogs of all personalities and energy levels. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, learning their routines, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I currently have a very energetic young Siamese cat of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, enrichment, interactive play, and attentive care. I also enjoy things like clicker training and mentally engaging activities, especially for high-energy pets, while always respecting each animal’s individual personality and comfort level. Outside of pet care, I’m currently a college student and work professionally as a chef, so reliability, routine, and attentiveness are all a big part of who I am. Whether your pet needs drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, companionship, or extra attention throughout the day, I’ll care for them with the same kindness and attentiveness I give my own pets.

I always try to adapt my care to each individual pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level. In a client’s home, I aim to keep pets as relaxed and comfortable as possible by following their normal feeding schedules, play routines, walking routines, and any care instructions closely. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, enrichment, and patience while their owners are away.

Tara was absolutely amazing helping me feel calm and at ease leaving my cat for 10 days. I am super anxiously attached to him as he is to me and she made it so easy for both of us! You could tell how much she cared, she asked so many excellent questions to get to know him and his needs and to understand how stressed I was to leave him. My cat absolutely adored her and she was so great at keeping in contact with me and sending updates with pictures and videos every day. I could see how happy he was around her and how comfortable he was with her. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Tara was absolutely amazing! She took amazing care of my cat, Willy. She took the time to come visit before the stay, asked all the right questions, and made me so comfortable leaving our cat and home in her care. During the stay she provided daily updates and took a ton of pictures. It was great to rest easy knowing our kitty was in great hands. Would certainly book again!
Tara is a wonderfull pet sitter, she took great care of me and my daughters dog while we were out of town. She was very attentive to our elderly dogs needs! We highly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter!

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m a recently graduated college student and currently work professionally as a chef, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule and availability throughout both weekdays and weekends, including evenings. I’m located in downtown Toronto, so I’m able to travel easily throughout the city for drop-ins, walks, and pet visits. Since I already structure my own days around routines, feeding schedules, and caring for my own cat, making time for attentive pet care is something that feels both natural and enjoyable to me.
