I work full time hybrid. I’m home 3-5 days out of 7. As an early riser I am happy to be out at dawn for walks. Where I live there is plenty of space for playing both outside and in. I’m also happy to just walk if your baby is a bit older. If you need me for longer than just a weekend please message and we can have a chat.

Information Tara C. would like to know about your pet

My preference is for smaller to medium size breeds and they should get on with other dogs happily. We have a few labs in neighbouring homes that walk off lead so it’s important our visiting friends are happy to be approached.

A typical day

Lots of love and cuddles and great walks with plenty of neighbourly friends to meet and play with. Bring toys for indoor play time and treats too!

Pet care experience

I’ve always had a dog, my whole life. But since saying goodnight to our Jessie in June 2025 I can’t bring myself to adopt another, so I’ve decided to offer my services and love as a sitter/carer.

Tara has looked after my dogs on many occasions and I honestly couldn’t ask for someone better. She is incredibly caring, patient, and genuinely loves animals. My previous dog, Lulu, was a very small Chihuahua who was blind, deaf, and quite fragile, so she needed a lot of extra care and understanding. Tara was amazing with her, giving her the patience, comfort, and gentle care she needed, and always making sure she felt safe and loved. She has also cared for Sophie, our rescue dog, who came with her own little quirks and personality, and Tara has been absolutely brilliant with her too. Dogs naturally seem relaxed and happy around her, and it is obvious how much she enjoys caring for them. I would trust Tara completely with any dog and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and dependable pet caregiver.

Tara has looked after our dog, Sophie, on numerous occasions and we’ve always had a great experience. She takes excellent care of her, and Sophie is always so happy and excited to go back, which is really reassuring to see. We always get regular updates and photos throughout the stay, which gives real peace of mind. She also makes a consistent effort to follow Sophie’s usual routine, helping her feel comfortable and settled. It’s clear that Tara genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after and treats them with kindness and attention. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, attentive, and trustworthy dog care.
