Tara looked after our greyhound, and sent us regular updates and photos with how he was doing. He had a bit of an eating blip and Tara was great with communication and we felt reassured she was keeping a good eye on him and soon he was back to his regular self. She took him out and about and we loved that he got to be a part of someone’s routine rather than more of a kennel-style stay. We really appreciated the flexibility with the drop off and pick up too. Would definitely book again ☺️
Tara was fantastic. Our miniature poodle is still a pup and we were nervous about leaving him with a stranger for the weekend. Tara put us at ease straight away, inviting us to visit her home a couple of weeks prior, so we could meet he, see where our pup will be and let him have a chance to see the apartment etc. Everything ran smoothly and our pup was well looked after. We would certainly recommend Tara to others in Edinburgh that needs a dog sitter.
Would recommend Tara, she helped out pretty last minute and was super chilled about it. Gracie was well taken care of, we received lots of updates, and she was a happy dog when we got back. 100% will book Tara again, thank you

Tara was such a happy and engaging young lady and easy to tell from day 1 that she was a lover of animals and that put my mind at ease. She looked after my boy for a week and was hugely accomodating in terms of drop off and pick up times. She really looked after him well and pictures provided of all the cuddles he was giving and getting. She would be my go to person for looking after my dog and i couldnt recommend her highly enough. You can leave your pet in her care with confidence they will be well looked after.
Tara is amazing with my small dog (Snorkie breed) and really understands exactly what he needs and when he needs it. She takes him on long walks, gives him so much love and attention, and always makes sure he feels comfortable and happy. The best sign of all is how excited he gets when we arrive at Tara’s house, he knows exactly where he is and can’t wait to go in! It’s such a comfort knowing he’s being so well cared for. I would highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and experienced with dogs.

Schedule
I am currently on gardening leave so have full availability and time to dedicate to your beloved pet. I like to get out for plenty of walks, no matter the weather. Also very happy for shorter walks for the little legs.

I keep a tidy and comfy home. I’m in a 2 bed flat with floor to ceiling windows that the pets I look after find very entertaining to look out. I also allow pets on the sofa to cuddle up and feel at home. I am less than a 5 minute walk from leith links, 20min walk from the beach and 5 min walk from the shore and river walk.
A typical day
I always let pets properly explore and I’m in no rush on a walk. I like to engage and play with them to ensure they’re not bored and have plenty of mental and physical stimulation too.
