I am currently able to work from home most of the time so I am available all week. If I do have appointments I have kennels for all the dogs to ensure their safety. I will accommodate whatever their routine is to keep them comfortable.

A typical day
We are an active household. Walks around the lake or we like to go to the Kal Haven trail near by. We live on a lake so if your doggie likes to swim or go for boat rides dropping them off will not be a problem :) I like to tire them out so they are ready for snuggle time at night.

Pet care experience
I have rescued all of my dogs and fostered many for over 15 years. I help families find their next family member and have re-homed all my fosters. My fosters vary from carrying for pregnant dogs, to puppies, to seniors. I have done it all.

Our pups enjoyed an overnight stay with Tara and obviously had the best time because they're snoozing away now that they're home. Our dogs are our children, so we're always nervous when leaving them with anyone; however, this time was different. You can really tell Tara loves dogs and truly has an instant connection upon meeting your fur babies. Just having that peace of mind knowing they were in loving, kind hands is priceless. We'll definitely be back!
I believe that whoever has Tara as a pet sitter or walker would be in great hands. I can testify first hand how caring and loving she is towards her pets. You would be very lucky to have her.
Tara is the dog whisperer! She loves dogs more than most humans - she will take great care to make sure your fur babies feel safe and at ease with her. She is patient with dogs who need behavioral assistance and will go above and beyond to make sure they enjoy their "vacation" while in her care. She is extremely responsible and has experience with training and fostering dogs. She also regularly volunteers at local shelters just to get her fix. (As i said, she loves dogs!) I can't think of anyone more qualified as a pet sitter!
Tara is the most amazing person with dogs. Her kindness and love of animals is pure from her heart. She actively volunteers for the SPCA and fosters dogs. One of her fosters had 15 puppies and Tara raised them all until they were able to be adopted out and facilitated that process. I adopted one of those pups and my dog still remembers “Momma Tara” every time we see her and absolutely loves her. Tara is a true animal lover, responsible and I would trust her completely with my dog.
