My schedule is pretty flexible! I clean a medical office in the evenings and spend my time during the day running around town, checking in on clients’ pets. :) Due to my evening job, I’m unable to accommodate visits on weekdays from 4:30PM-8:00PM.

Since I petsit full-time, I am independently insured. I also have a pup of my own! He’s a German Shepherd mix I adopted a couple years ago and he’s the brightest part of my day, everyday! My sweet boy struggled with a lot of anxiety from the get-go and it’s taken a lot of effort and energy to get to where he’s at today. Thanks to my love-bug, I’m now more understanding and accommodating of anxious/reactive animals, so if yours has similar struggles, I’m more than happy to move at their pace and honor their boundaries. As the momma of the best boy, I know how important thorough, genuine pet care can be and I want to ease other pet parents’ worries so they can completely relax while they’re away. Animals have always had a soft spot in my heart and I’m dedicated to caring for each and every critter I meet like I would my own! :)

Please let me know if your pet has any additional or specific needs. I’ve cared for senior, pregnant, and disabled pups in the past. The basics are critical, too—feeding times, diet, favorite toys…the more info, the better! I want to make sure I’m equipped to care for your fur babies as best I can so everything feels as natural and comfortable as possible! :)
A typical day
I am always down for a nice, long walk through the neighborhood or a snuggle session on the couch! Whatever your fur baby prefers, I’m happy to join in! :)

Pet care experience
I am independently insured for extra peace of mind! Animals have always been a passion of mine; I hoarded animal encyclopedias throughout elementary school, petted all the pups I passed on walks (with permission, of course!), and once I reached middle/high school, I was regularly petsitting for families in the neighborhood.

Is there such a thing as the perfect pet caretaker? I didn’t think so until we worked with Tara. She watched our giant breed dog, Milo, for almost two weeks, coming twice a day and treating him like he was her own. Honestly, I think he got spoiled. Tara went above and beyond in every way. She made his walks extra long, never cut corners, and even took our trash cans out and brought them back in without us asking. We were gone for a long time and very far away, so seeing her show up every single day, right on time, and take such great care of Milo made the trip so much less stressful. It meant a lot knowing he was in such good hands. We’re incredibly thankful for the peace of mind Tara gave us, and for being so caring, thoughtful, and responsible with our big baby family member we unfortunately couldn’t bring with us.
We were lucky to find Tara available on a popular holiday weekend. I was anxious about leaving the house as we are in the early stages of acclimating new cat Marty to our home already occupied by an established cat...diva Maggie. Tara took exceptional care of them both...providing detailed and humorous narrative reports every day - complete with photos worthy of a professional pet portrait photographer. Tara's communication skills leading up to the visit - and throughout her service - were outstanding. We were completely at ease putting our home, Maggie, and Marty in Tara's capable hands....and we will definitely hire her again.
Tara was wonderful taking care of our cats while we were out of town for 10 days. We truly felt like she was giving them lots of love, attention and care while we were gone. Would highly recommend her! ❤️
