I have been taking care of animals all sorts of species and sizes since I was age 4. What sets me apart from other sitters is I am quick on my feet and a great problem solver and will deliver the best care possible to your loved family pet member. I am able to give first aid, give medications and injections. I also have trained puppies and have experience in senior care.

Tara was amazing! We hired her last minute before going out of town & she treated our dogs and home amazing. Our dogs are older and we get nervous leaving them with people as they can be a bit nervous. Her care is unmatched & she was amazing at keeping in touch and making sure to follow the instructions for their care. We were so happy to have her and will definitely be using her again for our little ones!
I really wanted this to be a good fit, but unfortunately I can’t say it was. After we had planned this sitting for several days, she told us she was bringing her son day-of. Not having any other options, we had to say yes. We told her she could help herself to anything in our pantry/fridge, but assumed that “within reason” was implied. We came back and there had been a full back and a half of Oreo Thins eaten, which usually lasts us over a month. Definitely seemed excessive to finish not one but two packs. We also came home to the lights behind our living room mirror hanging off of it. If there’s an accident, we would understand, but she didn’t even say anything to us about it and the cords were hanging where the puppies could reach it. All that for $146 for less than a day. Will not book again.

Tara took great care of our boy Peanut while she was here! I sent detailed instructions and it was clear that she had read them, which I really appreciated she took the time to do. It was also clear that Peanut really enjoyed spending time with her. Unfortunately she did show up about 40 minutes late after confirming earlier that day that she could arrive at our agreed upon time. She also showed up unexpectedly with her son and asked if he could stay with her at our home. I completely understand that things happen, and I would not have said no to her son coming if we discussed it beforehand, but I felt uncomfortable that she hadn’t warned me beforehand. Her son was very cute and got along well with our dog, so it ended up working out, but I do wish that I had been given a heads up, as Peanut hasn’t been around many kids and I really wouldn’t have been able to say “no” to her son standing at my door had I not wanted him to stay.
Huge last minute help and took good care of Blaze.
My dog had an amazing time with Tara, always excited to see her when I drop her off!

Schedule
I am available on short notice and can tailor my schedule to your pets needs. I currently have 3 faithful sitters who contact me regularly for cat and dog sitting. I am very reliable.

I currently only take house sitting or pet boarding. Safety is super important to me to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable in their own environment. Also I try to mimic a safe familiar environment when I’m caring for pets in my home.

A typical day
I love taking dogs out to the dog park to run around and exercise and explore with me! They will get tired out and want to rest after a fun filled and stimulating day! For more laid-back dogs, I like to cuddle on the couch and binge watch a TV show with a nice cup of tea.
