Loving care for your pet
I have been caring for dogs for friends and family for a number of years. I currently work at an Animal Hospital , in the past I worked at Dogwood Acres Pet Retreat in Annapolis, Md as well as several other daycare facilities (Just4Paws Philly, Dogtopia AZ). I gained a lot of knowledge and experience from working in these places, from pet first aid to reading dog body language. I have experience with small and large dogs also with calm and aggressive dogs. I rescued a dog in the past, brought her back to health and found her a new home. I feel that gave me great experience with handling a new dog and all aspects of caring for one. I have a huge love for dogs of all kinds and love caring and helping with them anyway I can. I have experience caring for young puppies and senior dogs as well. I can administer medicine or address specific diet needs if necessary. I also have experience with other animals including exotic pets and farm animals. I can care for other animals if needed.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I have, no other pets and no kids. No matter what type of pet you have I can accommodate them and make sure they are comfortable. I am able to provide high or low levels of activity depending on their needs.

We booked and paid Tara for a first time "meet and greet" with our cat, in anticipation of using her in the future. She showed up on time and was pleasant, etc. then she told us she would be moving out of the area in a few weeks so unless we planned on using her service right away she would not be available. What was the point of our meeting her then? It would have been nice to have known this in advance so that I could have booked the visit with someone else.
Tara really understands dogs. From the first meeting through the entirety of the stay, it was clear that she knew how to approach, work with, and make my protective dog very comfortable in her home.
Tara is great with Lucy.
Tara was great and Bowzer seemed to make himself right at home. She was very responsive and I could tell she really cares. Would absolutely book with her again.
