I have had experience with caring for dogs and cats (and even tortoises!) since I was around 9 years old, with full responsibility put on me at 16. I have previously owned 4 dogs (2 reactive) and 8 cats, who have lived under the same house. Caring for complex dogs like Jack Russells and Border Collies, I understand how to deal with reactivity, prey drive, and have extremely strong legs! I am also familiar with puppy/toilet training, senior care and diabetic dogs, as I have cared for dogs both young and old!

I have a fenced garden, a friendly 6 month old border collie girl and 3 aloof cats. I can crate your dog if needed (and if crate is provided), but aim to treat them like family whilst they are with me!

Tara provided updates regularly while we were away. Sharing pictures and videos of Bailey. Tara was really flexible and was able to come earlier than planned when requested. The house was left tidy. Thank you for looking after our doggo.

It was lovely to meet Tara. She came to meet our staffy prior to arranging a house sit in June. She made me feel confident about leaving our staffy in her care. She showed a great understanding of dog’s behaviours. She was friendly and polite. Listened to all Bailey’s instructions for care. Bailey really liked her. Thank you Tara.
Tara was excellent, would recommend her pet sitting services. Very good and consistent communication throughout, and great dedication to making sure she met my pets' needs beforehand by arranging lots of meet and greets. My dog, Jasper, is nervous with new people but she was patient and calm with him which really helped with his comfort whilst I was away. She was also super respectful of my home, leaving it in a great condition after her stay!

Tara looked after our border collie Lara in our home while we went abroad on holiday. Our original sitter cancelled (not through Rover) and I looked at using Rover and contacted Tara with 2 weeks before we went. We were quite concerned that we didn't have anyone! Tara came round to meet us and Lara. Lara loved her immediately and we felt so relieved we had found someone to take care of her and our home. While we were away we had lots of communication and lots of photos which we loved. I can highly recommend Tara to look after your pet and also your home. I would definitely use her again and I know Lara would love to see her again!

I am currently available most days and I'm able to drive. I can give as much care as your pet needs, including walking, administering medication etc.
