First and foremost I take the time to build trust with the pet. Then engage them in activities they are familiar with, so as not to mess up their routine. Whether it’s going for walks, playing in the yard, or with their favorite toys.

I've taken care of pets (from dogs to turtles) since I was in elementary school, whether for neighbors, family, or friends. I also have 2 cats of my own! :)

Responsible and communicated well throughout the stay -- even though our shy cat hid from her the whole time, he was happy and well-fed when we came home.
