I would like to have an idea of what the dog's tempermant and general personality is as well as what kind of things the dogs like to do...long/short walks, running, swimming, playing with other dogs, if the dog has any illnesses/special needs, etc. I don't have any experience administering injectable medications to dogs but am willing to learn.
A typical day
I will come to the dog's house and walk him in his neighborhood or take him to his favorite nearby park. I will take any favorite toys he has and incorporate that into his play as well. I won't be able to bring dogs to my place as I live in a small apartment with my cat.

Pet care experience
I have been around animals all my life. Grew up in the rural Midwest surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, in addition to the cows, pigs, chickens, and horses at nearby farms. I love animals and have helped care for them all my life. I am comfortable with all kinds and sizes of dogs and love getting them out on walks/hikes and playing with them, snuggling with them indoors as well. I adore dogs and remain calm, letting them get used to me before trying to engage...letting them set the stage or lead the way. Once I get to know them I am very affectionate with them and love to play and run around with them. I currently live in my own place with my cat and would love to care for your pets in your home.

Tanya always does a great job with our 12-year-old dog. She gives him lots of attention. She's great at communicating and we know Bernie and our house are in great hands.
Tanya took such good care of Poppy! Poppy loved to see her come and happily went on the walks to roll in the grass and smell every little thing! Tanya had patience! Poppy will miss her!!!
