Since I’m studying from home, I have the flexibility and time to give dogs my full attention throughout the day. My own dog has set a great routine for me—morning walks, playtime in the nearby fenced parks, feeding, training moments, and lots of cuddles in between. I love staying active and making sure dogs are both mentally and physically stimulated. Whether it’s short potty breaks, long sniffy walks, or just hanging out together while I study, caring for dogs blends seamlessly into my day.

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, pets have a cozy and safe environment to relax and play. I have a crate available for those who are crate-trained or need a quiet space to rest, along with plenty of toys to keep them entertained. I also have access to two fully fenced parks just a short walk away, perfect for playtime and exercise, plus a fenced front porch for fresh air and people-watching in a safe spot. I keep a clean, calm space and follow each pet’s routine closely—whether that means meal schedules, medications, or snuggle time. Your dog will be treated like one of my own!

Information Tanya R. would like to know about your pet

Since I have a friendly dog of my own, it’s important for me to know how your pet does around other dogs—especially in shared spaces. I’d love to hear about their temperament, energy level, and any triggers or quirks they might have. It’s also helpful to know their feeding schedule, crate habits, medication needs, and how they do on walks. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home here.

A typical day

It really depends on the dog’s personality and energy level, but some of our favorite activities include park playtime in one of the nearby fenced parks, enrichment games with toys or treats, and fun training sessions for mental stimulation. For puppies, I love working on basic commands in a positive, playful way. If your dog loves cuddles, they’ll get plenty, and if they’re high-energy, we’ll burn it off with fetch, tug-of-war, or structured walks. I always aim to keep them happy, engaged, and loved!

Pet care experience

I have hands-on experience fostering rescue dogs for the past two years—especially puppies. I’ve helped rehabilitate malnourished, abandoned dogs and guided them into loving forever homes. My own dog is a foster fail I nursed back to health at just 2 months old after she was found on the street. Since then, I’ve fostered an entire litter of five puppies, all of whom were successfully adopted. I specialize in caring for young dogs and have a deep understanding of their needs—whether it’s feeding, socializing, crate training, or just giving them the love and patience they deserve. That said, I truly adore dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m currently studying from home, so your dog will never be left alone, and I live near two fully fenced parks for safe, fun playtime.

Tanya took great care of our dog. She sent lots of pictures every day. Our flight got delayed coming home. She was kind enough to flex on pick up. Highly recommend.

Tanya is Amazing! She took Great care of our 6 month old puppy Bailey. Tanya stayed with Bailey, and played a lot with her. They took fun walks, and we received lots of pictures. We felt very comfortable leaving Bailey with Tanya. She is positive, energetic , kind, and caring. She left our home in perfect condition. Bailey can't wait for her to come back!
