I require a one night trial stay for all new boarding dogs. My priorities are always safety and comfort for every dog in my care. The trial is to ensure your dog is able to settle in calmly without showing signs of stress or fear. Every house has different smells, sounds, and routines. Some dogs adjust bette than others. If I do not feel my home is a good fit for a new dog, I will be very transparent and have you pick your dog up and end the trial as I do not want to create any unnecessary stress for your dog. Please plan ahead. I will not accept last minute reservations for new clients who have not completed a trial. Crates are used for all guest dogs overnight and if I am unable to supervise them at any point during the day. This is for the safety of each dog. All dogs must be crate trainer prior to their stay. *First time boarders do not interact with my dogs. New places can be scary and some social dogs may be more defensive in a new environment with a new person and unfamiliar dogs. After the trial, socializing with my dogs will depend on if I feel temperaments and play styles match up. There is no guarantee your dog will play with other dogs during their stay. If your dog does not enjoy socializing, just let me know prior to their stay and I will be sure to keep them separated from all other dogs. *I do not accept reservations for dogs who dig under or jump over fences.

*Behavioral issues: Please be upfront and honest about any signs of aggression, anxiety, destruction, potty training issues, or excessive barking. I accept reservations for dogs with any of these issues, but knowing these things in advance will help me to provide the best care possible for your dog and keep their stay enjoyable and stress free. *Medical history: Please disclose any medical information such as medications, underlying conditions, joint/mobility issues, allergies, cuts or scapes, etc. *Rules and restrictions: Be sure to let me know if your dog is not allowed on furniture or other house rules you have so I can be consistent with your training.

I have a large fenced in yard with a variety of obstacles for your dog to play on. I also have an abundance of toys in the house that guests are welcome to. Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has a history of swallowing toys or resource guarding.

Professional pet care
Erfahrung in der Haustierbetreuung
I’ve been working in the pet care industry for over 15 years! I started out working as a boarding/daycare attendant and a local facility when I was a teenager. I was also a dog and cat groomer at that facility for a few years before leaving to broaden my knowledge in animal care by joining management at a pet supply retailer. After that, I became a professional dog trainer. It was during my years of helping dogs with a variety of behavioral issues that I learned these things: boarding and daycare facilities vastly contribute to reactivity in dogs, and that not many facilities cater to the needs of reactive or fearful dogs. That is why I began offering boarding services in my home. I also have experience working at vet clinics.
Bewertungen

We took our first vacation in our retirement & needed to find a care provider. Tanya cared for our 2-year old Golden Retriever for 2 weeks. She is the perfect combination of professionalism & personality. Daily updates with pics. When we returned to pick up Harry, he was happy to see us but also still showing Tanya some love. That tells us that he enjoyed his stay for sure!

Tanya took such good care of our dog. She was patient, caring, and experienced. We aren’t able to leave our pup with any other dogs and were finally able to take a vacation knowing she was in good hands.

Tanya took great care of our dog while we were away. He was happy and safe!

Tanya was very professional, and we felt our dog was safe and happy! Thank you!
