Pet care experience
Small group boarding
I do have my own private pet sitting business (since 2017). I’m back on Rover to fill a few open spots. We're a small structured daycare, and do boarding, and pack walks in nature. This means we have loads of fun and also work on our manners along the way! We make sure that the dogs play well with each other and properly socialize. I have learned about dog psychology over the years and love finding ways for dogs to live their best lives!

Tanya &Jonathan are Awesome would recommend them to anyone who needs boarding for their furry companion or just a day care situation… Had mixed feelings about leave Apollo 🐶for the first time Tanya sent so many photos and updates to put us at ease .. He looked so happy playing with the other dogs I was worried he wouldn’t wanna leave …🙂🙂 Hands down 🙌🙌they were heaven sent and I’m very glad I chose them for my needs In boarding Apollo🐶 You guys rock 🤘🎸

Tanya was amazing! She took pics and checked in regularly. My dog had so much fun :)

I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after my dog! She was incredibly caring, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my pup was happy and comfortable. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos — it was clear she truly enjoyed spending time with my dog and treated her like her own. My dog came back happy, well-exercised, and full of love. I’d 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter!

Super nice and sent so many pictures of our dog! Highly recommend!!

Our dog had a cut on his paw and eye from a bad grooming experience. While we were away for the weekend Tanya took him to the vet and took care of all of his meds (and cuddles) while he was healing!

Hudson had a blast staying with Tanya. It's clear she loves doggies, and she takes great care of them.

Schedule
Dogs spend the day with us (myself, my husband, and occasionally our college age young adults) playing outside and indoors together. We have a big fenced yard to romp and run in (plus a dog pool and splash pad in the summer), play room downstairs with room for zoomies with dog friends and us. We’re always up for dog cuddles as well! We enjoy taking them along with us to the pet store, hardware store, to parks, the farmers market, dog play dates, and (with your permission) a swim with us at the dog beach with one of our 50’ or 100’ leashes. We’ve introduced many dogs/ puppies to these activities for the first time at a pace that is appropriate for them.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
All dogs that come must be 7 days clear of other dog daycare/boarding places and dog parks for the health of our canine friends. ****We do not take unaltered adult dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, or dogs with any aggression tendencies. We do separate for mealtimes for all of the dog’s safety. I have experience giving medications, injections, and first aid.
A typical day
Daycare and boarding is a fun day of playing with friends and toys, working on our manners, learning and exploring new things, enjoying treats and chews, naps, & cuddles, Our big yard includes a small pond and large dog pool for swimming, a sandbox for digging, and a trampoline. Our indoor space has a quiet space with dog beds a couch, and kennels with Primo Pads for those that are crate trained. We also have a large indoor play area with toys, cots, and bungee pull tug from the ceiling. Boarding dogs do sleep in the kennel room or kenneled if that's what they are used to and do not sleep with us.
