Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life! I run a small hobby dairy farm, so caring for animals is part of my daily routine, morning and evening chores are just part of the rhythm of the day. I also have cameras inside and outside the house, allowing me to keep an eye on all animals at all times, even while I am at my full-time jobs. Your pet will be treated with the same love, attention, and care as my own because here, every animal is family. Whether it's feeding, walking, snuggling, or simply providing a calm, safe space, your pet’s well being is always a top priority

Safety, trust & environment

Pets in my care are treated just like family. Whether they are staying in my home or their own, I strive to make their experience as comfortable and stress free as possible. I follow each owner's specific feeding and care instructions closely to ensure a smooth transition, especially while their humans are away on vacation. At my home, pets have the freedom to relax and play in a fully fenced-in backyard. If they are crate trained, they will stay in their crate while I am at work, and then enjoy supervised playtime in the yard when I return. In the evenings, after dinner, dogs may go on a walk around the property to visit the farm animals. While they can observe and enjoy the sights and smells of the farm, they will not enter pastures or stalls or have direct contact with the animals to ensure everyone’s safety. I also adjust my care depending on the age and needs of your pet. Whether you have a playful young pup or a senior companion who needs a gentler pace, I tailor their care accordingly. The needs may be different, but the quality of care is always top of the line. With my veterinary experience, I pay close attention to the details of your pet’s health and well being. I’m trained to recognize early signs of discomfort or illness, and I take proactive steps to keep your pet safe, happy, and healthy throughout their stay. Safety is always my number one priority, and I make sure each pet feels loved, secure, and right at home.

Information Tanya B. would like to know about your pet

To provide the best care possible, it’s important for me to know a few key things about your pet before their stay. This helps ensure a smooth, safe, and stress free experience for everyone involved. Please let me know: Are your pets friendly with other dogs and people? Do they tend to hide, run, or show fear around new people or environments? Are they a submissive urinator, especially when nervous or excited? Do they try to escape, dig under fences, or have a history of running off? Are they known to climb or jump fences? Do they have any medical needs, allergies, or current medications? Are they up to date on their flea/tick preventative treatments? Knowing these details ahead of time allows me to customize their care and keep them safe, happy, and healthy throughout their visit. Open communication is key to creating a comfortable experience for your pet!

A typical day

A typical day for pets in my care is filled with comfort, play, and plenty of love. When your pet stays with me, they become part of the family and enjoy a structured yet relaxed routine that helps them feel at home. In the morning, we start the day with potty breaks in the fenced in yard and followed by breakfast. This gives your pet a chance to stretch their legs, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the sights and smells of the countryside. While they can observe the farm animals from a safe distance, they won’t have direct contact to ensure everyone’s safety. Throughout the day, pets have the freedom to roam around the house while I am home. They can nap, explore, or just relax in a cozy spot. When it's playtime, we head out to the fully fenced in backyard where they can run, fetch, and burn off energy in a safe and secure environment. Socialization is also an important part of the day. Your pet will have the opportunity to interact and play with my friendly family dogs, giving them the chance to make new friends, build confidence, and enjoy some fun canine companionship all under supervision to ensure a positive experience. Evenings are calm and peaceful, with dinner, cuddle time, and another chance to walk around the property. My goal is to make sure every pet feels engaged, comfortable, and truly cared for throughout their stay.

Tanya took wonderful care of our Sheila and kept us up to date on her adventures while at the farm! We loved seeing pictures of our dog getting to know the baby lamb and knowing that she was in such a special environment while we were away. Tanya is a very thoughtful person who loves caring for pets and we will definitely be bringing Sheila there again. Thanks Tanya!

Tonya took excellent care of my diabetic cat for 10 days. She gave her the shots that she needed and sent me pictures and let her have her own space to stay in. Tonya lives on a nice farm with other animals around and she is a total professional. Very glad we met you, Tonya!
