While Batman was ultimately returned happy and well-fed, the overall experience was stressful. Tanvi was responsive on initial contact and for some simple things following, but more important communication was handled poorly. Communication during the stay could have been better. Most photos sent were of his behind while he was outside going to the bathroom. I called this out and quality improved over the next few days but then I received no photos during the final two days of his 10 day stay. It just seemed very low effort. On the morning of pickup when I messaged her to coordinate time since my flight was scheduled to be in an hour early, she informed me that Batman was stuck in his harness just as I was boarding a flight. I advised her to cut it off or just take him to the vet for a safe removal if that was more comfortable and to keep me posted, then went silent despite the potential for injury and asking for follow up. When I arrived and messaged again saying I am on the way, she requests us to come to her apartment to pick him up because he was still stuck. My husband had to get him out of his harness when we arrived. Upon pickup, Batman and his bedding smelled strongly of urine, his underarm that was stuck in the harness is still red and raw over 24h later, and he had a noticeable ear infection (heavy gunk and head tilting) that was never mentioned. If you’re fine with a sitter who provides the bare minimum of food and medication, Tanvi is capable (and so is a boarder), but for a service that offers peace of mind, which I thought was what I was getting with her based on previous reviews, I would look elsewhere.

Tanvi and her husband took excellent care of my dog, was very responsive and shared pictures throughout his stay! I could tell they provided him a very comfortable and fun boarding and he didn’t want to leave their place
