Information Tania D. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs or accommodations I can attend to, such as dietary restrictions, medications, activity/downtime ratio preference, etc. I also have experience with - and am happy to accommodate -disabilities such as hearing and vision loss, incontinence, and other physical impairments, as well as issues like stress and anxiety. It's also important to let me know if your dog has any fear or aggression issues toward other dogs during walks and/or open space play time so I can be prepared!

A typical day

In my home, daily activities look like walking around my neighborhood which includes forest trails, parks, and safe family and pet friendly streets. I love to play games in my yard or at the park like fetch with a 'chuck-it' ball or frisbee, and indoor games like seek and find puzzles, rope tug, 'down-scaled' fetch, or playing with the many dog/cat toys I have. When the animals seek down time, there are cozy spots for R&R and cuddles with me. Same type of thing in your home depending on your needs!

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine.

Tania was awesome! Walked the boys daily, gave them lots of love, we got pic updates- she also took care of our flowers and plants and grass in this warm weather. House was spotless. Felt at ease that she was our Rover!

We are from out of town and were so happy to find Tania to watch Eddie while we toured Western Washington University with our son. It was a last-minute request and she couldn't have been more attentivie and caring. Her location near campus was convenient for our needs and we greatly appreciated her flexibility in accommodating our uncertain campus visit schedule. Most imporant, Eddie was happy, relaxed, and well-cared for. We recommend her highly and definitely would use her again when we are in Bellingham.

Tania is an honest and kind person, and I feel at ease leaving my 10 year old pup with her. I feel assured he gets plenty of attention and walk time. Recommended 100%.
