I just relocated to Arizona so I am inbetween jobs leaving my schedule completely open. I absolutely love spending time with animals - so there’s no specific time that wouldn’t work for me.

I currently have two cats and a dog at home - they are definitely what you would call spoiled. I am always the go to for my family and their canine companions when they need someone to watch them while on vacation and I always treat animals as if they were my own - with love and compassion!

Before every booking, I’d love to know your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide the best care possible. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, fears or anxieties, favorite toys or activities, feeding schedule, potty routine, leash behavior, how they interact with other people and animals, and any commands they know. The more I know ahead of time, the more comfortable, safe, and happy your pet will be while you’re away!
A typical day
I love making sure every pet has fun in a way that fits their personality! We’ll go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, explore new sniffing spots, play with their favorite toys, practice simple tricks with treats, enjoy plenty of belly rubs and cuddles (if they like them!), and make sure they get lots of love and attention. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, happy, and excited to see me again.

I take so much passion in taking care of animals, when I was younger I always wanted to be a veterinarian until I realized I would never have the strength to watch a family say goodbye to a best friend. I am a strong believer that all animals have a soul and aren't just pets and that's what sets me apart from others - I will treat your pet in the best way possible and always show them love and compassion!

Tanessa was an absolute massive help for me while I was away on a weekend trip! Not only did I request the booking on shorter notice, but my dog had an accident inside the apartment while I was gone. Tanessa not only cleaned up after him without a worry in the world, she also offered to stop by 2x more times than asked just to make sure my dog was ok. Truly couldn’t recommend a better sitter and I’ll be a repeat customer for sure!
I've known Tanessa for many years now and she is extremely kind, genuine and an absolute animal lover. She has volunteered at my families pet boarding kennel with doggie daycare throughout the past decade and always paid attention to each individual pets needs. I highly recommend her!
When Tanessa realized she could turn her love of animals into a career, she was genuinely excited. She has three very spoiled pets of her own—her dog, Tink, and her two cats, Maverick and Baby El—and they are truly part of her family. We grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds, from bunnies and mice to cats and dogs, so caring for pets has always come naturally to her. As a Rover pet caregiver, Tanessa would treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention she gives her own. She is respectful of clients’ homes, dependable, and highly responsible. She understands how important communication is and will keep pet owners updated as little or as often as they prefer, giving them peace of mind while they’re away. Tanessa goes above and beyond to make sure her animals feel loved! She throws them birthday parties… have cute birthday photos shoots. There is never a day that they don’t get some type of treat. She is one of the best fur babies mamas out there i know!
