I’m a patient, caring animal lover with a background in positive reinforcement training. Animals have always been a big part of my life—I’ve worked at both the zoo and the Louisiana Nature Center as an educator and animal caretaker, where I helped with training and husbandry for a variety of animal ambassadors. At home, I have quite the animal crew: 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bird, snakes, lizards, tortoises, hedgehogs, a rabbit, and even some invertebrates! Caring for such a wide range of animals has given me experience with all kinds of temperaments, routines, and special needs. I’m also a mom of three older children who sometimes enjoy helping me with pet-sitting duties. Together, we provide lots of love and attention to the pets we care for. To ensure the best fit, I require a meet & greet a few days before your booking. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, talk through your pet’s routine, and answer any questions you may have.
