We know first hand it can be hard to find reliable, affordable care but we are here to help! We will love yours like our own. We have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs/diets. As of fall 2024, we have a new Silky Terrier in our family! He is great with other dogs. We ask that your dog be up-to-date on vaccines and current on flea preventative and Heartgard. Dogs must be neutered/fixed. We can discuss puppy situations. Puppy policy: We have experience caring for puppies. Our rate might seem high but puppies are more than twice the work, as they have special requirements. Puppies should be started on crate training, house training and know basic commands like sit and stay. We are not certified dog trainers, so please keep that in mind. We do require a trial night for long stays and we can discuss the discounted rate for this as well. About our rate: Our rate is for 24 hours of care. We can be somewhat flexible with drop off and pick up times, as we both work from home full-time. Please let us know of your plans for drop off and pick up when you send in your request. For new clients: If you are looking for more than 4 days of care, we do request a trial stay prior to booking a longer stay. This is to make sure your dog will fit well with our home. Questions? Our plans changed last minute and Tana was able to take Penny on short notice! Penny looked happy and well cared for.

Large home, large backyard (not physically fenced, just our dog’s invisible fence), nice neighborhood for walks! Please contact us to discuss the environment your dog is used to so we can make them feel at home.

A typical day
Your dog will receive regular walks, cuddle time (if desired) and supervised playtime! We work from home so someone is home almost all of the time.
