I have loved animals from a young age and have owned cats and dogs for many years. I also volunteer at a local dog rescue when I can. I have 2 dogs of my own, I have had Alfie since he was a puppy, he is now 10 and Maisie is a Romanian rescue that we have had for 5 years. We think she is about 6 years old now but she is still very nervous around people and other dogs. Owning Maisie and taking a course in canine behavior, has helped me have a much better understanding of nervous and anxious dogs. I have also completed a canine first aid course earlier this year.
