Pet care experience
I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician with 18 years of experience in animal welfare available for drop in pet care. I am familiar and comfortable with a wide range of medical needs so if your pets have any existing medical issues I can competently care for those needs on a drop in basis. I am also very comfortable with behavioral issues and managing pets that need a little extra comfort in an unfamiliar situation.

Tamsyn has loved animals especially dogs for as long as I can remember. She has always had pets and she currently has 4 wonderful, well behaved dogs of her own. She works as a vet technician for a 24 hr. animal hospital. She would be a great choice to have taking care of others peoples animals. I’m sure she would take care of them just as well as her own.

Any special needs will need to be addressed prior to care to ensure I am able to properly accommodate your individual pets needs. Due to my experience in veterinary emergency I do also require proper documentation and planning in case of emergency, i.e. wishes for veterinary care locations, medical wishes in cases of life threatening emergencies. I have a prepared sample document that can be used for this.
A typical day
I implement several routes of enrichment activities for dogs and cats varying from mental stimulation to physical exercise. For my personal pets I use snuffle mats, foraging, treat balls, lick mats, kongs, chews, training and shredding activities for mental stimulation. I use runs, walks, flirt poles, and fetch games for physical exercise.

Availability
I currently work overnight in a veterinary ER so only work 3 days a week allowing me more days off each week to provide care.
