Getting our first dog, Jeeves over 10 years ago inspired me to pursue a career working with dogs. I worked at a rehoming centre in the UK and during this time I learnt a huge amount about dogs and their different needs, as well as different enrichment techniques and training. I completed various different training courses as part of my employment. Since moving to Canada I have taken a more flexible approach that allows me to travel, ski and explore such a beautiful country. I also trained and competed with Jeeves for 2 years in agility. Our best result was coming overall runner up in the Starters Cup competition at Discover Dogs in London. This last year Jeeves was diagnosed with cancer and has a hind leg amputated. Over the last few months I have learnt a lot about caring for elderly, sick and disabled dogs and have administered injections for pain management. Due to his amputation, our adventures and walks have become limited so I am looking forward to spending time looking after and caring for your pets! After moving to Canada almost 5 years ago, my husband and I are now determined to settle in the Columbia Valley, and we are actively looking for land to purchase. Until we find somewhere to call our own we are house-sitting and will rent if need be. **My Services** I am available for walks, drop ins and house sits in your home.
