Experienced pet and house sitter
Getting our first dog, Jeeves over 10 years ago inspired me to pursue a career working with dogs. I worked at a rehoming centre in the UK and during this time I learnt a huge amount about dogs and their different needs, as well as different enrichment techniques and training. I completed various different training courses as part of my employment. Since moving to Canada I have taken a more flexible approach that allows me to travel, ski and explore such a beautiful country. I also trained and competed with Jeeves for 2 years in agility. Our best result was coming overall runner up in the Starters Cup competition at Discover Dogs in London. This last year Jeeves was diagnosed with cancer and has a hind leg amputated. Over the last few months I have learnt a lot about caring for elderly, sick and disabled dogs and have administered injections for pain management. Due to his amputation, our adventures and walks have become limited so I am looking forward to spending time looking after and caring for your pets! After moving to Canada almost 5 years ago, my husband and I are now determined to settle in the Columbia Valley, and we are actively looking for land to purchase. Until we find somewhere to call our own we are house-sitting and will rent if need be. **My Services** I am available for walks, drop ins and house sits in your home. Tamsin was great! She is clearly so comfortable, understanding, and capable being with dogs (and cats...and fish) and I felt confident and reassured the whole time we were away that our fur and fin family were so well cared for.
Tamsin looked after our 2 dogs and 2 cats for 9 nights. She did a meet and greet prior to our departure and all the pets responded very positively to her. She kept in touch with us and sent us pics on a regular basis. We felt very comfortable with her and were able to fully enjoy our vacation without concern. Upon our return all were content and well looked after. We would highly recommend Tamsin and will definitely request her again.
Finding Tamsin to look after our home & pets was a big relief. We have a very shy & anxious dog & Tamsin was very calm & patient with earning her trust. She came for a second meet & greet & offered to come again if needed. We were travelling for a difficult & stressful reason & having Tamsin booked to look after our home, dog & cats gave me a lot of peace of mind. Our anxious little dog fell in love with her & I am confident that they are now friends for life! I highly recommend Tamsin & I will certainly contact her again for future home & pet sitting needs.
Tamsin was great with our pups! Very professional, lots of walks/playtime and pics for us to see how things were going. Would recommend her 100%!

Programa
I have currently set my schedule to only be available on my days off. Once I am settled in my roles I may open up availability to fit around my schedule. If you are looking to book house-sitting, we can discuss options, such as my husband being available during the days I am at work.
